LaKeisha EsShun Brown was born May 3, 1981 to Ralph and Robin Brown in Southampton, New York. She departed this life all too soon on Friday, January 15, 2021. “ Keisha,” as she was so affectionately called, attended the Riverhead Central School District of which she proudly graduated from in 2000. Keisha was the proud mother of her daughter, Kayla Marie Brown, whom she loved more than anything else in the world. She loved her family and was always ready to help out when needed or join in whenever there was anything going on. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten the darkest of days. Her passion was taking care of children. She fulfilled that passion working at various Daycare Centers over the years, ending with Dory’s Day Care … a job she loved. She cared for each child as if they were her own. Keisha will always be remembered for her gentle, caring spirit, her warm smile and her love for others. Memories of her will always be cherished by her daughter: Kayla, her parents: Ralph and Robin Brown; her sister: Brenda Brown; grandparents: Deacon Eugene Robinson and Mother Mary Robinson; nephews: Donovan and Daniel Brown; nieces: Amber, Amaya and Alana Brown; a special “Sister” friend: Yanina Tineo all of Riverhead, New York; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
